Welcome to PostShop.

Congratulations — You just made social media the easiest part of your day.

We just sent your welcome email. Open it to activate your account and connect your social platforms with one click. Text CONNECT anytime for fresh connection links.

Important — How Texting Works

Always send your photo and your words in the same text message. Attach the photo, then type your description in that same message before hitting send. If you send a text with no photo, we'll text you back asking you to try again — we can't hold onto text-only messages and combine them with a photo later.

Sending multiple photos or videos as separate texts? Include the word bundle in the caption of every text you want grouped together. Send them in any order. Wait 5 minutes after your last bundle text before starting a new group. Like: "finished kitchen bundle" on each one.

What Happens Next

Your setup timeline.

Now

Open your welcome email.

Your welcome email is in your inbox. Tap Activate, then tap each platform link to log in and approve access — about 30 seconds per platform. No passwords shared, no apps to install. If you don't see the email, check spam, or text CONNECT to your PostShop number for fresh links.

Now

Your voice profile is ready.

Your custom voice profile was built from everything you told us during setup. Captions will sound like you from the first post — the more you text us, the better they get.

Ready

Start texting us photos.

Once your platforms are connected, save your PostShop number to your contacts. New numbers take about 30 minutes to fully activate with the cell carriers after we provision them — if your first text comes back as undeliverable, wait a bit and try again. Once your number is live, text a photo to it with a description of what's in it — what the job was, where you are, what happened, anything you'd want people to know. Your first post goes out at the next posting time you chose during signup.

Ongoing

Just keep texting us.

That's your only job. Text us photos and videos whenever you do something worth sharing. Tell us about what's in the photo — the more detail you include, the better the caption sounds. We handle the writing, the hashtags, the scheduling, and the posting. Your feed stays active as long as you keep texting.

Tips

How to get the best results.

What works great

Send a photo or video with a description of what's in it — all in the same text. Tell us what the job was, where it is, what happened, what you want people to know. "Just finished this full kitchen remodel in Pasadena — took 6 weeks, client wanted modern farmhouse, we did custom shaker cabinets and quartz countertops" gives us everything we need to write a caption that sounds like you.

The more you tell us, the better the caption. A photo with no words still works — we'll caption based on what we see — but your words are what make it sound like you.

Good to know

Each text you send becomes one post. Depending on your plan, if you send several texts in one day, they won't all post the same day — we'll spread them across your posting schedule so your feed stays consistent.

Your plan determines how many posts go out per day (1, 2, or 3 depending on your tier). Posts typically go live within 24 hours of when you text them.

Going on vacation? Send them all at once. If you text us more posts than your daily limit, the extras don't get dropped — they queue up and post on the following days, one full day's worth at a time. That means you can spend an hour before a trip texting in everything you'd want posted that week, and your feed will keep going while you're off the grid. Text QUEUE anytime to see how many days of content you have ready to go.

Photos & Video

Videos: keep them short. Clips under 60 seconds perform best on social media and work best across every platform. Standard smartphone video is perfect — no special settings or apps needed. If you have a longer clip, just trim it in your phone's Photos or Gallery app before sending.

Photos: just send them. Any standard smartphone photo works. No need to resize, crop, or filter — we handle all of that. Every photo you text us gets turned into a post.

You don't have to use photos from your camera roll. Most phone messengers let you attach images and videos from Google Photos, Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or any other app you've linked — open the attach menu in your texting app and you'll see the full list. That includes stylized images you've designed in Canva or Adobe Express — finish your design, save it to your camera roll or any cloud-storage app you've connected, then attach it from there. Old marketing photos, headshots, product shots, designed graphics — anything visual you have anywhere, just send it.

Schedule

Your posting times.

When your posts go out

During signup, you picked the times of day you want your posts to publish — those are your posting slots. When you text us a photo, the post gets queued and goes live at your next available slot. Your daily plan determines how many slots you have: Essential is 1 per day, Growth is 2, Authority is 3.

If you didn't pick specific times during signup, your posts go out as soon as they're processed — typically within an hour or so.

Want to change your times?

Just email us at postshop.live@gmail.com or text the word FEEDBACK followed by your new preferred times. We'll update your schedule and confirm the change.

No need to be exact — "weekday mornings around 9am" or "lunch and after work" works fine. We'll translate that into specific posting slots for you.

Combining Multiple Texts

The bundle command.

When to use it

Most of the time you don't need this — multiple photos in one text work just fine. But phone carriers can't reliably deliver mixed media (photos + videos together) or more than one video in a single text. When that happens, you need to send them separately.

The bundle command lets you send photos and videos as separate texts and then combine them into one post. Use it whenever you're sending a mix of photos and videos, or more than one video.

How it works

1. Send your photos and videos as separate texts — one at a time.

2. Include the word bundle in the caption of every text you want grouped together. Like: "finished kitchen bundle" on each one.

3. Send them in any order. We'll group everything you tagged with "bundle" into one post.

Important: The word "bundle" must be in the caption of every text you want combined. After your last bundle text, wait 5 minutes before starting a new bundle group — otherwise both groups merge into one post.

Common mistakes

Forgetting "bundle" on one or more texts. Only texts that include "bundle" in the caption get grouped. If you tag three out of four photos with bundle, only those three combine — the untagged one publishes as its own post. Always include bundle on every text you want grouped.

Sending "bundle" as its own text instead of in a photo caption. A "bundle" text with no photo attached doesn't do anything — bundling is per-text, not a command you trigger separately. Attach the photo and put "bundle" in the caption.

Not waiting 5 minutes between bundle groups. After your last bundle text, wait at least 5 minutes before starting a new bundle group. If you start a second group within 5 minutes of the first, both groups merge into one post. The 5-minute pause is how we know one group is done and another is starting.

Platform Differences

How we handle your content across platforms.

Every text you send becomes a post across your connected platforms. We automatically resize and format each photo for the platform it's going to — so you don't have to think about it. Each platform has its own caps on how many items it'll accept per post and how long captions can run. Here's what to expect.

Platform Photos / videos per post Caption
Instagram Up to 10 (carousel) Long
Facebook Up to 10 Long
LinkedIn Up to 20 Long
Threads Up to 20 (carousel) Long
YouTube 1 video (no photo-only posts) Long
X / Twitter Up to 4 photos, or 1 video Short
TikTok Up to 35 photos, or 1 video Short
Pinterest 1 per pin (one pin per item) Short
Google Business Profile 1 photo (image only — no video) Long

A few platform-specific notes

Long vs. short captions. Long captions are the full version — your story, full hashtag set, and (on Growth and Authority) translations into your additional languages. Short captions stay under 280 characters to fit X's hard limit, with 1–2 hashtags. Only long captions get the multilingual stack; short captions stay in your primary language because there's no room for translations.

Pinterest splits into separate pins. If you send 5 photos in one text, Pinterest gets 5 separate pins — one per image. Every other platform groups them into a single carousel or post. This is how Pinterest works natively.

YouTube needs a video. If your post is photos only, we skip YouTube — there's no photo equivalent on that platform. If you send a video, it posts as a Short.

X / Twitter caps photos at 4. If you send more than 4 photos in one post, X gets the first 4. Every other platform still receives the full set up to its own cap.

TikTok carousels accept up to 35 photos. If you want a big carousel, send your photos across multiple texts and include the word bundle in the caption of every text you want grouped. We'll stitch them all together into one post.

Instagram's app shows up to 20 in a carousel, but their API caps third-party tools at 10. Since PostShop publishes through their API, your Instagram carousel max is 10. (If you ever paste extra photos into Instagram's app yourself, you can use up to 20 — but that's separate from PostShop.)

Google Business Profile posts directly. We post to your GBP location as its own update — not piggybacking on other platforms. Image only, no video, one photo per post. If you manage multiple GBP locations, you can switch between them by texting GBPLOC.

If a platform allows mixed media (photos + videos), we send everything. Instagram and Threads accept mixed carousels. Facebook, LinkedIn, and X are images-only when mixed — videos in mixed posts skip those platforms but still post everywhere else that accepts video.

Going past the platform's cap? Nothing is lost. Each platform receives up to its own limit, and platforms with higher caps get more of your content. If you want every platform to receive every photo, keep posts under 4 photos to stay inside X's cap.

Carrier limit on your end: your phone will let you attach 20 or 30 photos to a single text, but cell carriers cap multimedia messages at 10 items per message — anything past the tenth attachment gets dropped in transit. If you want more than 10 items in a single post, send them across multiple texts and include the word bundle in the caption of every text you want grouped. We'll combine all your bundle-tagged texts into one post, and each platform receives up to its own image cap.

Team Access

Let your team text photos too.

How it works

Your PostShop number is secured to your account. Only phone numbers you've approved can submit content. You were automatically added as the primary sender when you signed up.

Want your office manager, field crew, or anyone else to text photos on your behalf? Add their number and they can start submitting right away. The total number of senders depends on your plan:

Essential: 1 sender (you)
Growth: Up to 3 senders
Authority: Unlimited senders

Add or remove numbers

Text these commands to your PostShop number from your phone (only the primary sender can manage the list):

To add someone: text ADD 8185551234

To remove someone: text REMOVE 8185551234

Need more senders? Upgrade your plan from your phone — text ACCOUNT to your PostShop number for a secure link to your billing portal.

Pinterest Boards, LinkedIn Pages, Facebook Pages & Google Business Locations

Pick exactly where your posts land.

When you connect Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Google Business, we automatically choose the most likely destination — but you can switch anytime with a single text.

What we pick automatically

The moment you finish connecting each platform, we pick a default destination and confirm it by text so you know where your posts will go:

Pinterest: Your first board
LinkedIn: Your company page if you have one — otherwise your personal profile
Facebook: Your first business page
Google Business: Your first location

If our pick is right, you don't need to do anything. If you want a different destination, switch it whenever you like — same pattern on all four.

How the reply works: when you text any of these commands, we send back a numbered list. Reply with the platform code and the number of the option you want — for example, if you text FBPAGE and see "1. Acme Roofing, 2. Acme Real Estate," you'd reply FB 2 to switch to Acme Real Estate. The number is whatever number sits next to the option you want.

Switching Pinterest boards

Text PINBOARD and we'll text you back a numbered list of every board on your Pinterest account.

Reply with PIN 2 (or whichever number sits next to the board you want) and we'll switch your pin destination right away. Your next post goes to the new board.

Don't have any boards yet? Create one in Pinterest first, then text PINBOARD.

Switching LinkedIn pages

Text LIPAGE and we'll text you back your options. Option 1 is always your personal profile — followed by any company pages you manage.

Reply with LI 1 for personal, or LI 2 (or whichever number sits next to the page you want) for a company page. Your next LinkedIn post goes to the new destination.

Switching Facebook pages

Text FBPAGE and we'll text you back a numbered list of every business page on your Facebook account.

Reply with FB 2 (or whichever number sits next to the page you want) and your next Facebook post goes there.

Facebook posts to business pages, not personal timelines.

Switching Google Business locations

Text GBPLOC and we'll text you back a numbered list of every business location on your Google account.

Reply with GBP 2 (or whichever number sits next to the location you want) and your next Google Business post goes there.

If you only manage one location, no need to switch — your posts go there automatically.

Approvals & Feedback

Shape every caption to sound exactly like you.

Approve or reject each caption

If you're on Full Review, we'll text you every caption before it publishes. Reply with a single word — no formatting, no waiting on us.

Love it? Text APPROVE (or OK, YES, PERFECT, GREAT) and we'll publish it.

Not quite right? Text REJECT followed by why, and we'll write a new version with your feedback in mind.

Examples:
REJECT too formal
REJECT doesn't mention we're closed Tuesdays
REJECT more casual, less salesy
REJECT wrong — this was a full reroof, not a repair

The more specific your reason, the better the rewrite. Short and direct works — this isn't an essay, just tell us what to change.

Teach us your voice over time

Every time you reject a caption with a reason, your voice gets a little sharper in our notes. The next caption incorporates what you told us — and so does the one after that. Over a few weeks, your posts read more like you and need fewer rewrites.

This is why reasons matter. Texting just REJECT with nothing else still triggers a rewrite, but we're guessing at what you didn't like. Tell us, and we stop guessing.

Need to tell us something? Use FEEDBACK.

FEEDBACK is your direct line to us for anything that's not a photo, a command, or an approval. Text FEEDBACK followed by your message and we'll read it and respond.

A few examples of what people use it for:

FEEDBACK can you change my posting time to evenings
FEEDBACK my captions are sounding too formal lately
FEEDBACK can you pause my account for the next two weeks
FEEDBACK loved how the last post turned out

Any question, suggestion, or request that isn't covered by a text command — that's what FEEDBACK is for. If it's something a command can already do (switching pages, adding senders, getting your feed, checking connection status, billing changes), use the command instead — it's faster and you don't have to wait for us.

Get More Google Reviews

One text. Ready-to-forward review request.

Why it matters

Google reviews are one of the most powerful ways to get found by new customers. But asking for reviews is awkward, and most business owners forget to do it. PostShop makes it effortless — just text a single word right after finishing a job.

How it works

1. Finish a job, serve a customer, or wrap up an appointment.

2. Text REVIEW to your PostShop number.

3. You'll get back a professional, ready-to-forward message with your direct Google review link.

4. Forward it to your customer via text. Done.

Your Google review link is set up automatically during onboarding. Every time you text REVIEW, you get the same professional message — just forward it to whoever you just served.

See What's Been Posted

Your posts, one tap away.

Your personal feed

Want to see what PostShop has been posting for you? You have a personal feed page that shows your last 7 days of published posts — images and your full long-form captions, clean and simple. (Short captions are just truncated versions of the long ones, so we show the long version for the full story.)

Bookmark the link and check it anytime. No login required.

How to access it

Step 1: Text FEED to your PostShop number. You'll get a link back.

Step 2: Tap the link to open your feed, then bookmark the page in your phone's browser for one-tap access from now on.

Your feed refreshes automatically. Every new post shows up as soon as it's published. The page always shows your most recent 7 days.

What You'll Receive

Reports land in your inbox automatically.

No dashboards to log into. We email you a summary of what we published for you and how it performed — at the pace your plan covers.

Every Plan

Weekly Recap — every Monday morning

A short email summarizing what we published for you the previous week, total reach and engagement across your platforms, and any commands you used. No fluff — just the numbers.

Agencies managing client accounts receive a weekly tailored to their needs.

Growth

Monthly Performance Summary — first of each month

A snapshot of the prior month with month-over-month context: total posts, reach and engagement, your three top-performing posts, a per-platform breakdown showing where your content lands hardest, and your best-performing day of the week.

Authority

Monthly Strategy Report with Action Plan

Authority's monthly report is a different category of deliverable. It includes everything in the Growth summary, then connects three sides of your story most reports never bring together:

  • What we published — every post, platform, and language
  • How it performed — engagement and reach side by side, with month-over-month context
  • What the world says about you — themes from your customer reviews, your rating trajectory, and the language and demographic makeup of your immediate neighborhood

It ends with a short list of specific actions to take this month — concrete next steps grounded in your actual data. The kind of decisions an agency would charge $500 to make for you.

The system gets sharper over time — every month adds more data, surfaces clearer patterns, and refines the recommendations.

Connect Your Accounts

One email, all your connection links.

How it works

Your welcome email contains a secure connection link for every platform you selected during signup. Tap each link, log into your account, and approve access — about 30 seconds per platform.

No passwords shared. No apps to install. You're granting PostShop permission to publish on your behalf through each platform's official authorization process. You can revoke access at any time.

What to expect

Step 1: Open your welcome email and tap the black Activate button to confirm your account.

Step 2: Tap a connection link in the same email. It opens the platform's login page. Log in with your account.

Step 3: Approve the permissions. You'll see exactly what PostShop can do (publish posts) and what it can't.

Step 4: Each time a platform connects successfully, you'll see a confirmation page in your browser and get a confirmation text from your PostShop number. Repeat for every link in the email.

Lost the email, want to swap to a different account on a platform you're already connected to, or want to add a platform you didn't pick during signup? Text CONNECT to your PostShop number anytime — you'll get back a list of all 9 platforms showing which are connected and fresh links for the rest.

Need to remove a platform? Text DISCONNECT to see your connected platforms as a numbered list, reply with the number of the one you want to remove, then reply CONFIRM. Posts to that platform will stop until you reconnect. Account holder only.

Supported platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Threads, Pinterest, and Google Business Profile — all nine connect the same way, with one secure link per platform from your welcome email.

Need help?

Text FEEDBACK followed by your question to your PostShop number. We'll review and get back to you.

For billing or plan changes, text ACCOUNT for a self-serve portal link.

Help & FAQ

Questions, grouped by how you use PostShop.

Start with For everyone, then jump to the group that fits you — solo owners connecting their own accounts, or agency operators connecting accounts they manage for clients. Most answers take under a minute.

For everyone

My posts aren't showing up on social media

Walk through these checks in order:

  1. Has your preferred posting time passed? Posts publish at the time windows you selected during setup. If your first post of the day is set for 2pm and it's only 11am, you're just early — hang tight.
  2. Are your accounts connected? Text CONNECT to your PostShop number — you'll get back a list showing which of your selected platforms are connected and fresh links for any that aren't. Tap each pending link to authorize. If you skipped any platform during setup, posts won't flow there until you connect it.
  3. Is one platform missing while others work? That platform may have rejected the specific content based on its own rules — for example, a platform's filter flagged the image or text, or the content type isn't supported on that platform (Google Business doesn't accept video, for instance). Text FEEDBACK with the date and platform and we'll look into it.
  4. Still no post anywhere? Text FEED to your PostShop number — you'll get a link showing your recent posts. If it's there, it posted. If not, text FEEDBACK followed by the date and details and we'll look into it.
I texted a photo but didn't get a confirmation

A few things to check:

  1. Did you text the right number? Your dedicated PostShop number is the one in your welcome email — save it in your contacts. Texting any other number won't reach us.
  2. Did you text from an authorized number? Only phones you've authorized can submit. On Essential, that's just the primary number on file. On Growth, up to three senders total (primary plus two added via ADD). On Authority, no limit. If in doubt, have the primary account holder text ADD (your number) first.
  3. Was the file too big? Photos up to 10 MB and videos up to 50 MB / 60 seconds are the current limits. Most smartphone photos are fine. Video from a DSLR or longer clips may need to be trimmed or re-exported at a lower quality.
  4. Still nothing? Text FEEDBACK followed by the date and time you sent the photo, and we'll check what came in.
A teammate can't text photos in

First check who's already authorized. From the primary account holder's phone, text SENDERS — you'll get back a list of every phone number currently authorized on your account. If your teammate's number isn't on the list, that's why their texts aren't getting through.

To add them:

  1. From the primary account holder's phone (the number on file), text ADD followed by the teammate's number. Example: ADD 8185551234.
  2. We'll confirm the add. The teammate can now text in their own photos.
  3. Sender limits by plan: Essential = 1 sender (owner only). Growth = up to 3 senders. Authority = unlimited.
  4. Over your limit? Remove someone first with REMOVE 8185551234, or upgrade your plan to make room.
I got a text saying my submission was too big

Current limits:

  • Photos: up to 10 MB (any smartphone photo is fine)
  • Videos: up to 50 MB and 60 seconds

For oversized videos, trim the clip or re-export at a lower quality from your phone's editor. For oversized photos (rare), resend from your phone's camera roll rather than a pro-export.

One good clip beats three mediocre ones — most social platforms only allow one video per post anyway.

My photos didn't combine into one bundled post

For photos to combine into one post, two things must be true:

  1. Every photo you wanted grouped had "bundle" in its caption. Bundling is per-text — only the photos you tag with "bundle" get grouped. If one photo was missing the word, that one published as its own post. Resend any missed photos with bundle in their caption.
  2. You didn't send "bundle" as a standalone text message. Sending "bundle" by itself (with no photo attached) doesn't do anything — bundling is per-text, not a separate trigger. Each photo you want grouped needs "bundle" in its own caption.

If everything above looks right and your photos still didn't combine, text FEEDBACK with the date and time you sent them, and we'll look into it.

One of my bundle photos published as its own post

This usually means one of two things happened:

  1. One photo was missing "bundle" in its caption. Bundling is per-text — only the photos you tag with "bundle" get grouped. If you tagged three photos but forgot the fourth, the fourth publishes on its own. Resend that one with bundle in its caption.
  2. One photo arrived more than 5 minutes after the others. If your phone or carrier delayed delivery on one of the texts and it arrived after the 5-minute window closed, it ended up in its own bundle group instead of joining the others. Text REJECT on the orphaned post if you want to redo it.

The rule: include "bundle" in the caption of every text you want grouped, and wait 5 minutes after your last bundle text before starting a new group.

I accidentally approved (or rejected) a caption (Full Review)

For approvals you want to pull back: Text FEEDBACK followed by which post and what you want changed. If it hasn't been published yet, we'll do our best to catch it before it goes out — but the closer to the scheduled time, the harder that gets. Once it's live on your platforms, you'll need to delete or edit it directly on that platform — we can't remove posts once they're published to your accounts.

For rejections you regret: A fresh caption has already been generated from your feedback. Review the new version — if you prefer it to the original you rejected, just approve it. If you want the original back, text FEEDBACK and tell us what you'd like. We'll do our best to recover it; if the rejected caption has already been overwritten, we'll work with you to rebuild something close.

A caption has the wrong tone (Full Review)

If you're on Full Review, this is what the REJECT command is for.

  1. Text REJECT followed by a specific reason. Example: REJECT too formal, we're more casual or REJECT don't use exclamation points.
  2. A fresh caption comes through shaped by your feedback.
  3. Here's the part that matters: the more specific your reason, the more your captions evolve to match your voice. Over time, they need fewer corrections.

If the tone keeps missing after several rejects, text FEEDBACK with what's off and we'll fine-tune how we write for you going forward.

How does photo enhancement work? (Authority tier)

Every photo you submit on Authority tier runs through professional-grade image enhancement before it publishes. Exposure, color, contrast, and clarity all get tuned to make your photos look like they were taken with intent — even if you shot them one-handed on a job site.

This is what professional photographers and editors charge for. On Authority, it happens automatically on every image, with no extra effort from you. Snap a photo, text it in, and what publishes looks better than what came out of your camera.

We deliberately stop short of filters, heavy stylization, or anything that screams "edited." Your photos still look like real photos — just the version of them where the light cooperated, the color is honest, and the details come through. Video isn't enhanced — what you send is what publishes.

I want to change something in my account — posting times, time zone, language, voice, anything else

If a text command can do it, use the command. Many account changes are self-serve and don't need our review:

  • Add or remove a teammate's phone: ADD 8185551234 or REMOVE 8185551234
  • Switch Pinterest board, LinkedIn page, Facebook page, or Google Business location: PINBOARD, LIPAGE, FBPAGE, GBPLOC
  • Connect a new platform, reconnect, or swap accounts on a platform: CONNECT
  • Disconnect a platform you no longer want to publish to: DISCONNECT (then reply with the number, then CONFIRM)
  • Change your plan, payment method, or cancel: ACCOUNT

For changes commands don't cover — posting times, time zone, additional languages, voice profile tuning, business description — text FEEDBACK with what you want changed. Example: FEEDBACK please change my posting times to 11am and 6pm. We'll review and email you to confirm when it's done.

I want to stop service or change my plan

The easiest way: text ACCOUNT to your PostShop number. You'll get back a secure link to your billing portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel — all self-serve, all from your phone. The link is single-use and expires after your session.

Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle — you keep your current tier's features through the period you've already paid for.

Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period, no refunds for the unused portion. Your posts will continue publishing through the period you paid for. Refund policy is in our service agreement.

When in doubt — text us with FEEDBACK

PostShop is built to be low-friction. If something isn't working the way you expect and none of the above helps, text FEEDBACK followed by whatever's on your mind. We review every feedback text and get back to you. Nothing is too small to ask.

Important: Any text you send to your PostShop number that isn't a command (BUNDLE, REVIEW, FEED, EXPORT, MENU, CONNECT, ACCOUNT, PINBOARD, LIPAGE, FBPAGE, GBPLOC, SENDERS, ADD, REMOVE, APPROVE, REJECT, or FEEDBACK) gets treated as content for a post. So if you have a question or want to flag something, always start your message with FEEDBACK so we know it's for us, not for your audience.

Solo owners — connecting your own accounts

How do I connect my own accounts?

Open your welcome email and tap the connection link for each platform you selected. Each link opens that platform's official login — sign in to your account and approve access. About 30 seconds per platform, and no passwords are ever shared with us; you're granting publish access through the platform's own authorization, and you can revoke it anytime.

Lost the email, or a link expired? Text CONNECT to your PostShop number for a fresh set of links plus a list of which platforms are connected and which are still pending.

A platform didn't finish connecting

First, text CONNECT for a fresh link — most incomplete connections just need a retry. If it still won't connect, the account usually doesn't yet meet that platform's requirements (for example, TikTok needs a Business account, and Instagram must be a Business account linked to a Facebook Page). See Connecting & switching platforms below for the per-platform prerequisites.

Agency operators — connecting accounts you manage

I'm setting up an account I manage for a client — what do I need before I connect?

The key thing: you connect each client's accounts using the admin or manager access you hold on their accounts — you don't need their passwords, and you don't log in as them.

  1. Get admin/manager access first. Before you start, make sure you've been added as an admin or manager on each of the client's platforms — their Facebook Business Manager, their Google Business listing, their LinkedIn company page, and so on. This is the step that trips people up: if you're not yet on the client's account, the connection will fail or connect the wrong account.
  2. Connect with your own login. Tap each connection link while signed into your own platform account. During authorization you select the client's page or asset that you manage.
  3. Point each platform at the client's asset. After connecting, use the destination pickers (below) so posts land on the client's page, board, or location — not yours.
Which platforms can I connect with admin access vs. which need the client's own login?

Connect with your own login + admin access (no client password needed):

  • Facebook Pages — you're an admin on the client's Page via their Business Manager
  • Instagram — the client's account is a Business or Creator account linked to that Facebook Page
  • LinkedIn company pages — you're a page admin on the client's company page
  • Pinterest — the client's account is a Business account
  • Google Business — you have manager access to the client's listing
  • YouTube — you manage the client's brand channel

Need to be signed into the client's own account (no agency-admin option exists on these): personal profiles and X / Twitter. For these, you or the client must be logged into their actual account to authorize the connection.

How do I make sure posts land on the client's page, board, or location — not mine?

After connecting, use the destination pickers to point each platform at the client's specific asset:

  • Facebook page — text FBPAGE, reply FB N to choose the client's page
  • LinkedIn page — text LIPAGE (option 1 is always your personal profile; pick the client's company page)
  • Pinterest board — text PINBOARD, reply PIN N
  • Google Business location — text GBPLOC, reply GBP N

Connecting & switching platforms

I lost my welcome email, a link expired, or I want to swap which account is connected

Text CONNECT to your PostShop number anytime. You'll get back a fresh set of authorization links plus a status list showing which platforms are connected and which are still pending — including a fresh link to swap to a different account on a platform you've already connected. Account holder only.

A platform won't connect — common prerequisites and errors
  • TikTok requires a Business account. In the TikTok app: Settings → Account → Switch to Business Account (free), then retry the link.
  • Instagram connects through its linked Facebook Page — the Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.
  • Facebook posts to a Page, not a personal profile. Make sure a Page exists and you're an admin on it.
  • Pinterest requires a Business account.
  • "This account is already connected to another account" — the social account is linked to a different connection. Text FEEDBACK and we'll clear the old link so you can connect fresh.
Can I send posts to a specific board, page, location, or sub-account on a platform?

Yes — four platforms let you switch destinations after connecting:

  • Pinterest boards — text PINBOARD to see your boards, reply PIN 2 (or whichever number) to switch
  • LinkedIn pages — text LIPAGE to see options (personal profile plus any company pages), reply LI 2 to switch
  • Facebook pages — text FBPAGE to see your business pages, reply FB 2 to switch
  • Google Business locations — if you manage multiple business locations on one Google account, text GBPLOC to see your locations, reply GBP 2 to switch

For Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Threads, posts go to the single account you connected during setup. To change which account, text CONNECT to get fresh authorization links and reconnect.

Content Guidelines

What works — and what to avoid.

You know your business better than we do, so we don't gatekeep content. These are practical guidelines that keep your posts publishing cleanly across every platform.

Content that works

  • Photos with a quick description in the same text ("we finished this kitchen today in Sherman Oaks")
  • Behind-the-scenes and process shots — these perform well and are easy to keep a steady flow of
  • Customer wins, before-and-afters, and finished work
  • Team moments, equipment, or day-in-the-life content
  • Short vertical video under 60 seconds
  • Carousels of related photos — send them all in one text, or send them as separate texts and include the word "bundle" in the caption of every text you want grouped

What to avoid

  • Photos over 10 MB or video over 50 MB / 60 seconds — those are the current size limits
  • Mixed media (photos and videos together) in a single text — some phones may split these into separate messages. Send media as separate texts and include the word "bundle" in the caption of every text you want grouped into a single post
  • Screenshots of text-only content (memes, quotes, announcements) — platforms suppress these
  • Photos of minors with identifying details unless you have clear permission
  • Anything you wouldn't want a prospective customer to see on your business's public profile

Getting the best captions

  • Always include a short note with every photo — even a few words gives us context
  • Use your natural voice in your notes. We mirror how you actually talk, so don't over-formalize
  • If you're on Full Review and a caption misses the mark, REJECT with a specific reason. The more specific your feedback, the closer future captions land to your voice

Tips by plan

  • Essential: 1 post/day, 1 authorized sender, weekly recap
  • Growth: 2 posts/day, up to 3 authorized senders, multilingual captions, weekly recap + monthly performance summary
  • Authority: 3 posts/day, unlimited senders, multilingual captions, photo enhancement, weekly recap + monthly strategy report with specific actions to take
  • Going over your daily limit? Extra submissions queue automatically for the next day — nothing gets lost
